Server Crash/Stopped

Hello,

We have the problem that the server is running and after 1-2 sometimes even 3 or more days it just stops, according to the status the server is running, but you can not connect, only after a restart of the TS server then it works again.

There is nothing in the logs except that over 60 users on the TS have this message in the log:

- Failed to execute packet resend of packet 223. Dropping connection.
- Failed to execute packet resend of packet 4427. Dropping connection.
- usw...

What could be the reason for this? It is a server that is used for GTA Roleplay, with SaltyChat Plugin.

You're experiencing this because of a botnet-type DDoS attack. I just went through the same thing. I fixed the issue, and it's back to normal now. I'll write a forum post about it.

Why is everyone using Debian? It is a very nice and stable OS. Install Ubuntu 20. My servers are also exposed to ddos attacks, but I have never received such an error in my life.

The main reason why debian is always recommended is because teaspeak was developed / tested on debian.
You can use Ubuntu too, no problem.
