  • @ moonstarbilisim:
Hello is there anyone i can speak about license server?
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
    I couldn't solve this problem https://prnt.sc/1d9mvgu
  • @ yamano:
    add license.teaspeak.de / 87.106.252.164 to your firewall whitelist ;)
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
Datacenter close whole network to foregin countries on each
    ip
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
It is not related with me
  • @ yamano:
you need access to that dns / ip or your server will not be validated...
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
if i change my dns server ( using global dns server not google dns ) can it be resolved?
  • @ MiguelETG:
switch to other provider ;) @yamano is right, if you cant reach that DNS/FQDN your server license wont be verified
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
if i change my dns server ( using global dns server not google dns ) can it be resolved?
  • @ MiguelETG:
@moonstarbilisim do this: "ping license.teaspeak.de" if you get a reply like: "PING license.teaspeak.de (87.106.252.164) 56(84) bytes of data". It means your DNS servers are working properly and they are resolving the FQDN into the correct IP
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
ICMP requests completely blocked on network so i can
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
so i can't understand it by this way
  • @ MiguelETG:
then try this: telnet license.teaspeak.de 80
  • @ MiguelETG:
you should get something like: Trying 87.106.252.164...Connected to license.teaspeak.de.Escape character is '^]'.
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
root@ubuntu:~# telnet license.teaspeak.de 80telnet: could not resolve license.teaspeak.de/80: Temporary failure in name resolutionroot@ubuntu:~#
  • @ MiguelETG:
okay, did you tried with just the IP? telnet 87.106.252.164 80
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
    root@ubuntu:~# telnet 87.106.252.164 80Trying 87.106.252.164...Connected to 87.106.252.164.Escape character is '^]'.
  • @ MiguelETG:
you have a DNS servers issue
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
    Which server should i use?
  • @ MiguelETG:
Configure some "public" DNS or add the resolvers manually
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
do you think google dns or 4.2.2.4 useless for this?
  • @ MiguelETG:
you can try with 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4, 1.1.1.1... there are tons of public DNS Providers
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
    already it is sir.
  • @ MiguelETG:
You need to find an allowed DNS by your company that can resolve this FQDN. Otherwise you can have a temporal fix (but maybe tomorrow it stop working in case the ip change). Edit your hosts file: sudo nano /etc/hosts and add 87.106.252.164 license.teaspeak.de
  • @ moonstarbilisim:
Okay sir thank you very much.
